As an athlete who has been through countless programs and worked with many trainers, I can say Ali Benjamin is truly an outstanding coach. I have worked with Ali in the areas of physical therapy and rehabilitation, swimming, strength training, and currently boxing. It's a great thing when you have a trainer that can be more effective than your chiropractor or physical therapist. Ali is highly talented at assessing skill level and building programs accordingly. I have seen him working with seniors, kids, and pro boxers; his experience allows him to create tailored programs that are most effective for the individual client and their personal goals. Lastly and most importantly, Ali always knows how to fire you up when you walk in the front door of the gym. If you are having a down day and you have a session, you walk out feeling like an entirely new person, in the best kind of way. Some trainers are better at it than others, but it is clearly a natural talent for Ali. I would recommend him to anyone looking to get more healthy or active.

My son plays baseball in high school and initially started boxing training with Ali to work on his cardio and hand quickness. My son loved it, so I started using Ali for some personal training, focusing on body toning, core work and cardio. Just like my son, I love working with Ali. He is very knowledgeable, supportive, and can tailor a program for whatever your needs are. When the COVID 19 pandemic shut down normal day to day life, Ali worked out a time to come to our backyard and coordinate some workouts, all while maintaining social distancing. These workouts were a lifesaver, not only for our sanity but a great program for overall fitness. They are challenging but we feel so satisfied after doing it. We can't wait for the next session. Ali is the best, we are so grateful for his work with us, his support and his friendship. We highly recommend Ali, he's the best!

Ali Benjamin I've worked with other trainers before but no one makes you sweat like Ali does. He listens to your goals and targets each area that you want to focus on. You can feel and see the results the next day and Ali will keep you motivated to keep working.

I've been training with Ali for over a year now having met him while he was a trainer at Equinox in San Ramon. After Ali decided to leave Equinox to pursue other professional training opportunities, I realized that if I wanted to get the most out of my own personal training situation, I needed to stick with AIL He's done an awesome job custom-designing workouts to help me add significant core and overall body strength while dropping over 10Ibs. He's also helped my son and his high school baseball buddies add much needed athletic strength as they all prepared for varsity baseball and for some, a future in collegiate baseball. When I first came to Ali I had little to no boxing experience. I had attempted to take a boxing class elsewhere, but I was making little to no progress. From our very first class I was convinced that I would continue to keep training with him. His passion for the sport, his patience, his honesty and his knowledge will make you want to keep coming back to learn more. He will literally sit there and break everything down for you. Explain what you are doing right and wrong and always has a smile on his face and a positive attitude. I made a lot of progress in a short amount of time because of him. I grew up playing sports my whole life and I Can honestly say he has been one of the best coaches I've ever had.

Joining Benjamin's Boxing Gym has been a pivotal chapter in my personal and athletic journey. From the moment I stepped into the gym, I was enveloped in a community that is as welcoming as it is motivating. Initially, I was apprehensive about entering such a new and challenging environment, but the coaches at the gym quickly alleviated my fears. Their expertise, patience, and unwavering support rapidly dissolved my initial nerves, fostering a positive environment where I felt encouraged to ask questions and learn freely. Joined Benjamin’s Boxing & Fit back in October and it definitely was the right decision. I had wanted to join a boxing gym for several years now and finally tried it. The group classes are always great with varying exercises/workouts with coaches walking around and helping your technique. The private coaching sessions are great to further drill in your technique and get pointers on areas that need focus.
