Benjamin's Boxing Foundation: Empowering Youth Through Boxing
The Benjamin's Boxing Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to empowering at-risk youth and individuals from underserved communities through boxing, fitness, and mentorship. Our mission is to provide young people with opportunities to develop discipline, confidence, and leadership skills, while fostering unity between different socioeconomic backgrounds.
We are a strong, dynamic network of experienced coaches, talented athletes, engaged parents, and committed volunteers, all united by a shared commitment to health, hard work, dedication, and inclusivity. By bringing together youth from diverse communities across the Bay Area, we aim to build lasting connections that transcend economic and cultural barriers.
Breaking Financial Barriers
Many young athletes face financial challenges that prevent them from accessing quality training, equipment, and competition opportunities. Our foundation works to eliminate these barriers by providing:
✅ No-Cost Training Opportunities – We subsidize or eliminate training fees for youth in need.
✅ Essential Equipment & Uniforms – Boxing gloves, protective gear, and training apparel.
✅ Travel & Competition Support – Covering costs for regional and national tournaments.
✅ Mentorship & Leadership Development – Teaching life skills through structured guidance.
Each year, we serve over 100 young athletes, including 20 competitive fighters who participate in monthly tournaments and national championships, such as the Junior Olympics. Through these experiences, our athletes learn mental discipline, resilience, and courage, skills that extend far beyond the ring.
More Than Boxing: Supporting Our Community
At Benjamin's Boxing, we believe that nourishment fuels success—inside and outside the ring. Thanks to the generosity of the staff at Maison Benoit in Danville, we are able to redistribute baked goods and pastries to underserved families and gym patrons. This simple act of kindness helps ensure that dozens of individuals can train on full stomachs, reinforcing our commitment to supporting the well-being of our community in every way possible.
Our Legacy & Leadership
The Benjamin’s Boxing Foundation was founded by Ali Benjamin, whose lifelong passion for boxing was inspired by his father, Roy Benjamin, a respected amateur and professional boxer. Ali's dedication drives our mission to provide a safe and supportive space where youth can grow physically, mentally, and socially.
